hey guys! welcome to the first ever giveaway on my sharla's life channel. i'm so excited for this giveaway because everything that i'm going to give away to you guys is stuff that i'm in love with. i'm a total stationery/sticker freak i collect it all, i have like piles of it myself so i thought that it would be fun to share that with you guys because i'm sure there's lots of you out there that also love it a lot and japan has the cutest stationery, just until i show you some of these things. it's so hard to not go into a stationery shop and buy everything,
so i usually buy everything. before we get started, i wanted to make one quick announcement: i now have a p.o. box! yay! if you guys want to send me anything, you can do that and i'm thinking about doing, like monthly, depending on how much mail i get monthly, or like every two months, an opening video where i open up your packages and i thought that would be fun so, yeah, if you would like to send me anything, i will put the information down below and don't worry, i won't be, like, reading your letters out in the video or anything
so if you want to write anything personal, you can do that. i won't be sharing it with the world or anything but if you guys, like, draw me pictures or something, i'll definitely be showing those so, yeah! alright, let's move on to the giveaway! i have so much stuff to show you, i just kinda went crazy i don't even know where to start so, the theme for today's giveaway is stationery and stickers and japan has, like, the cutest letter sets - letter writing sets they're just adorable, there are so many of them and they're so cute
i will put a list of some of the names of the shops that you can buy this kind of stuff at in the description box so if you're ever in japan, and you want to look for, like, letter sets, or stationery, cute notepads i'll list some of the shops where you can do that i also got some cute files that you can use for school. since school's coming up, i thought that it would be a good time to do this giveaway alright, next is my favorite part. i kind of went a little overboard on the stickers because there were so many cute ones but i'm going to be giving away all of these adorable stickers. look at these okay, these food themed ones with the faces are just my favorite
and then of course, some cat stickers and i also got some dog stickers because i know not all of you are, like, crazy cat ladies like me so there's also some people that like dogs so don't worry, there's some dog stickers in there this is another pack of really cute, like, japanese snack stickers and some sushi with faces too cute, right? so all those stickers next is this really adorable coloring book
and now, i know this looks like it's for children, and it is, but what i thought was cool about it is it's a hiragana practice book, so i thought for you guys that are currently just starting to study japanese, that something like this might be helpful for you it's got squares where you can practice your hiragana writing and it's also got animals that start with that hiragana so like "u" and then "ushi" is a cow. so you can also learn some vocab from there and it's just really cute so i thought that would be a fun way to study basic japanese alphabet next is erasers. now, japan loves making really fun erasers like this
these ones are shaped like food, so there's some sushi and some shrimp tendon, it looks like, and onigiri and this one here is actually scented, and i really want to try them out, so whoever wins this, make sure you tell me how these smell because you know me, i like smelling stuff but these are soda and vanilla flavored erasers not flavored, don't eat them please scented erasers yeah, some cute erasers and another really, really cute thing that you can always find in japan is notepads. so, there's all different kinds of notepads, i have like six different types here
start off with some cats, of course so you can like fold these up, and it makes like a little stand-up note-card yeah, so it looks like this you can write a little note on it and then make it like a 3d stand-up kind of thing and i also got the rabbit version, or is that a dog? i don't know what it is the non-cat version, it doesn't say what it is but it's cute, whatever it is. it could be a dog if you wanted it to i guess, yeah. so there's cat and dog notepads and next, i thought these were fun. these are some really yummy japanese chips actually,
called karamucho. they're really famous chips and these notepads, they're made to look like little chips i don't know if these actually smell like chili or anything, they probably don't. that would be kind of weird but they do look like chips, so i thought they were really cute and they look just like the package too these ones are really tiny panda heads. i thought you could use them for like keeping your place in a textbook or something, or like as a bookmark. and same with these little tiny ones as well. lots of little cute animal faces that can be used for bookmarks, or like textbooks, that kind of thing next we have... i thought these would be fun. they're like secret note-writing pens. i got two of them so that you can write, like, notes with your friends but you write with the pen and you can only see it with the black light that is on the end of the pen.
so you can like exchange notes with your friends and only you guys can see them by using the black light, so yeah, i thought those were fun and i've got some really cute pencils. they've got pandas and bunnies and just lots of colorful cute animals on them. they're the kind where you like, have the little lead cartridge-thingys and once you use one up you just pull it out and stick it in the top and they refill themselves. and i think one of these is like, a rainbow crayon one. yeah and the last thing is my favorite. i was so excited when i found these and i had to buy them for the giveaway. these are pocky pencils and they smell like strawberry i can even smell them through the package
omg, this is such a cute idea. look at them, they look exactly like real pocky except for they're sparkly, but... so yeah, you can sharpen them like a regular pencil and all your friends will be jealous because you have pocky pencils. so yeah, that is everything guys! if you would like to enter this contest, i thought i would do this one a little different than my usual contests where you just comment in the comments section because that's kind of boring. so what i want you guys to do is post a picture on instagram of the favorite thing in your room. a plushie, or it can be anything, the favorite thing that you own in your room. i want you to post a picture of that on instagram and i want you to hashtag that #sharlajapangiveaway all one word, #sharlajapangiveaway
